Installed at a community college in Dallas’ Oak Cliff neighborhood, “Hugs & Kisses” displayed works-on-paper and paintings on large-scale hand-painted “wallpapers” by Heyd Fontenot alongside Dallas-based artist Erin Stafford’s sculpture. The gallery maintained a comment book, in which one visitor cheerfully mentioned: “I like the diversity in Heyd Fontenot’s models. He had models with big boobs and with little boobs.”
